On the news one day was a ten second clip about a thirteen year old girl who had hung herself at her school, nobody knew for hours.
I wanted to write something for her, I tried to get inside her feelings... Now I don't know if this was the right or wrong thing to do, but I wanted to do it for this girl.

This is for her..

Memoriam for an Unknown Girl

A thirteen year old girl found swinging from a rope, was this to be, in life, her one and only piece of hope.

Her first twelve years had ticked along and quite often, she’d merrily hummed a little song.

Then a bell chimed, year thirteen arrived, that little song was definitely gone. She wondered one day if all her emotions had floated away, so she set about finding out if there were any actually still about.

She realized they’d never had chance or choice, to gently drift or float up high, violently, quietly there’d been broken up, her emotions carelessly tossed aside.  Abandoned to forever fall down a dank dark abyss, with a kick and a drop plus ten seconds of twitching shaking shock.

Her daily sourer with Mousier Abyss, FINISHED, by a rope with a noose on a hot summer day in beautiful, cozy, peachy May.

All of this happened a classroom away from the other children, who quite merrily knew how to normally play.

I find it so depressing when I hear of such young children, with their whole life ahead of them, choosing to give it all up. How alone she must have felt with no ear to hear her pleas. Perhaps now in God's kingdom she will receive the love and attention that was denied her in life....

Be always safe,
Karen
