Swirlin’ up a storm of black and white shards

whippin’ up words

slamin’ down stanzas

takin’ life to that place it fights all day

bangin’ noise ‘gainst the wall

later showers swirl round War and Peace

as Infinite Jest hovers

their supple thighs

deliver DNA with no turning back

So if you’re caught in the wake of my flurry

all shite and scared

heart bangin’ heavy

new ventricles panting

eyes needing boarding up

think loose

dream open

calm will appear before the storm

But beware when hallucinations vanish

for inside purity of white

lurks black’s counter spinnin’
