Vibe-a-subway

Whoa the big tail is a scampering through the vacuous dust of time

Big Tail he knows

Big Tail he sees

Big Tail he feels

Draggin' the Kool Aid wrapper into the den of hope

Draggin' the McDonald's fries a'bumpin along for the Short Tails

Draggin' the past into the hole of the future

Hearin' the rumble of time passing

Hearin' the angst of ignobility

Hearin' the pressures of survivin'

Arrivin' it says

Arrivin' it asks us to struggle to beat the hands of time

Arrivin' it demands we enter

Wake up you standing Pyreneesis of ancient darkness

Wake up we who feel

Wake up little child a-rollin' into the labial doors that would miscarriage your life

Oh, God, bring the light

Oh, God, if you be

Oh, God, deliver me to the next tunnel of lessons.

Vibe-a-subway - never cease - we are but students.

Not sure which town your subway runs, but when I was living in Flushing, NY, I had first hand knowledge about the subway riders. There were there during the rush hours going home mostly I remember. Made me think of Caligula-era sexual free-for-all. Not there wasn't out-an-out fornication, although I have seen that in some early morning runs, but the first time I was on a subway and standing behind a girl I was shocked when I was groped quite forceable. I learned the ropes quickly. I still think about those days. I know your poem wasn't about the groping that went on and I assume still goes on underground in New York City.
