I recall viewing Cairo from the tower overlooking the Nile. In the distance, garbage dumps burned in the clear desert air creating clouds of smoke surrounding the city of refugees from another Israeli war. People were living and dying in the streets, but the city lived on.

Too many on this Earth are living day to day. Perhaps, they shouldn't be living at all.
