I like "pondering the imponderable." This poem held out bold images for me. You have captured 'heaviness' in the bolders (at least the rocks were bolders in my ears), pressing together enough to 'spoon.' That is just what happens to them when in reference to antiquity as great as 'beyond forgotten.' The word "compressing" . . . wonderful choice to illustrate the heaviness of time. And the "Imagining's soul mates" came through with a vision of comedy/tragedy theater masks, all tying this one up ponderously for my liking.

I see this as a sad piece, Odin. I think Love is getting overburdened with 'forevers'. I think true love should soothe themselves, and, finally, forget about the 'others'. Let 'them' find their own way, within Da(nte's)li's hand. Um,sorry, guess you pressed a button..
