first cry
suckling

begins tenuous longings
begat by sudden voltage
cranial hostage without voice
not knowing
not yet equipped
only growing synaptic wanderings

From where
comes liberation
sentient pleads exploding
expression finally knowing its needs

We wonder
we challenge
we...

From where
does creative experience derive its understanding
that place wisdom becomes the new voice
where the stranger’s "Hi"
opens expansive trust
makes attachment moot
relies not on expectation
simply allows the now of then
