Governing is the game a privileged few play. Some in sand boxes. Some in mind-bunkers of well meaning. But even though some think they have the “hallowed” answer, does "anyone" really have the quintessential right answer?

The Mantis Right
How heavenly the rhetoric
Numbers as angels
Future primaries as cloud-rides
Victims-the poor
Primordial instincts-the rule
Even as their own kind
Graduate to the baser existence
Guns at the hips
Power as the mantra
Bigotry their personal drug
All for the mind-fall of consciousness toward...
Sad
The offspring
Of mantis predators
Engendered with prayerful pose
While gazing at suffering prey
Accepting human predacious instincts
As their only evolutionary acceptance
Chapter and verse everything
So some claim
So sadly true. They play and pontificate while so many suffer.
