Awakening Age With Innocence
by Odin Roark
To know of hummingbird stillness
To feel the pine needle crunch beneath winter snows
To hear the embracing stretch of pistils weeping
To see infinite jest in cumulus billowing
To touch a beach strewn pebble with one's caress for life
Such becomes
The rebirth of childhood
The wisdom of Life's carefree shovel and bucket
The wonder of nature's patient love
