How many of us seek our own freedom? How many seek that which others say is freedom?

Windowless Viewing
This place
Always there
Void of restrictions
Empty of requirement
Limitations unknown
Such is the open state of mind
Where peripheral vision knows
Three hundred sixty degrees
Is but a beginning
How curious those
Comfortable with thresholds
Sills
Doors
And windows
Confinement made safe
At times
Worthy of worship
They are told
And then some...
Casting restraint to the wind
Remain free spirits
Never asleep
Never with need of sunset
Moonrise
Dawn of another invented day
Finding pure light
In what others dismiss as darkness
Becoming its own mesa
In perpetuity
Might that more knew
Nature's pure existence
Unbridled willingness to imagine
Beyond imposed boundaries
Sufficing the hunger
Of that everyday place
Consciousness
How simple
This realm of honesty
Where heart and mind
Coalesce
Caring not
Obeying not
The shackles of acquiescence
Where captivity's glittering lure
Spews forth from velvety smiles
Seldom noticed
Before swallowed

Nature's pure existence
Unbridled willingness to imagine
Beyond imposed boundaries
Quite powerful, quite good, and quite needed these days.
