Love's Weightless Mystery

How pure this burden of weight
Some call isolation,
Others deem attachment
To the sometimes slow erosion of falsehood.

To walk upon paths of nature’s blending,
That sometimes circuitous route asking one
Accept disappointment,
Embrace the lessons hard fought,
Accept a leaf that reluctantly floats to its demise,
Knowing well a feather might follow,
and such may merge into...

All life’s lessons deliver with the pang of possible mistakes,
Even though conscious that without errors
There are no teachings learned.

Oh love,
Hard fought,
Genuinely earned.

Rejoice.
For it is not for me
Or you
To possess.

Love is a weightless question...

Amorphous wonderment
Reserved for those
Who are willing to admit there is an unknown,
Yet accept epiphanies as only valid
For those who seek
The realm of paradoxical understanding,
Accepting that without the knowledge of black of hurt,
one cannot embrace the everywhere-essence of white’s healing,
and thus the unconditional warmth of Life’s understanding.

Love's weightless mystery...

How rewarding the devotion to challenging feelings.

I love beef stew with fresh bread and butter. I love little baby ducks, old pick up trucks..............Love mixed with lust sets off sparks. Love felt by gratitude. Love of someone who lets me be me.........Love that lasts, now, that is the one that is a mystery. 'Enjoyed!

Love ya!

There was a time when love made me weightless. But often that euphoria came down to earth in real disappointment. From those early mistakes, I've learned to roll with life's ups and downs and gather up below whenever it appears.

I could not discern all of your wisdom in these verses, but I'm sure you understood what you were writing to convey.

This poem is really quite remarkable, raising an interesting question that cries out for exploration. Some beautiful, and very true, lines here, I can't repeat them all, no need. They lay on the page, on their own. Well done.
