Reason

Is there a reason why some are born into mysteries unsolved,
while others are pampered into dreams of self-content?

And what of the reason why some can’t live enough,
while so many choose to only exist and live so little?

Might there be a reason why some make their own road signs,
while zombie minds follow but signs made for them?

Whys and wherefores…

Might reveal why blossoming in parched earth,
is merely one of Enigma’s challenges,
needing no reason or rationalization,
only the acceptance of yet another possibility.

So exhilarating,
this reasoning of purpose.

It certainly is exhilarating when someone breaks the mold. So easy just to fit in and follow. So hard to create a new vision or way of thinking. All one has to do is look to nature. In a anthill or beehive, one will find many many more workers than queens and their drones. The former are necessary to maintain the dynasty of the latter. But once we reach a level of thinking beyond insects, why can't we do better?

It is sometimes difficult to know the reason why. You have raised some poignant questions here worth considering, even if answers don't always comply.

"this reasoning of purpose." is too heavy for me perhaps. I'll go with the "acceptance.........". 'Enjoyed!
