To further birth…
remains our species’ neuronal quandary,
the mortal battle with the innate will of cells
pursuing only visionless duty to reproduce.

How vacuous the realm of reason has become.

Where once humanity’s knowledge took center stage,
such now slumps in beleaguered shadow,
peering from the wings of relegation,
stage-fright that re-entrance may never be cued.

Global birth soars unabated,
becoming future’s audience
applauding the proliferation duty of the uninformed,
ignoring responsibility for the overwhelming reality.

Such has become the rationale of deniers,
blind to the seduction of their subconscious slavery,
where long abandoned synaptic health
drags shackled reasoning into decision’s arena
awaiting battlement’s continued blood lust,
where further defeat only enhances history’s next round
of unenlightened self-adulation.

Might the notion to further birth on our planet
be a dishonest proffer of furthering death?
