Are the hands of a watch advancing by choice?
Does the second hand enjoy leading the race?
Will the clock ever know Time’s finish line?

Yesterday’s moment is past.
Tomorrow’s moment is imagined.
This moment is all there is.

Chasing Time.

What folly this be.

I admit to being a clock watcher. Have been like that for a big part of my life. Can't say why exactly, I imagine a shrink could, but I probably wouldn't much care for his reason. Heh.Heh

I am personally interested in the concept of time as you may have noticed from the multiple poems I have written on the subject. I see also that you share a similar interest. I especially like your question: Will the clock ever know Time's finish line? Answer: probably not. And yes, I think you are right: only folly to chase time. The fleeting moment is hardly catch-able.
