I see the potential for war, not peace everywhere. Even in the workplace, where ego and petty factions get the best of people and the end result is warning factions there is the workplace. But what about on the larger scale, of nations and indeed the global community. Again, you have ego and petty factions (nothing worse than the inflated egos of Saudis, from the leadership on down). They actually make the Iranians, including the Foreign Minister, sound reasonable in contrast.

All around the globe, war keeps creeping in. Fortunately, the death toll is nothing like it was by this time in the last century… 1919. Still, there are so many places that could escalate.



Saudi Arabia is in a land grab for Yemen. The US supports Saudi Arabia largely because of our dependence upon Saudi and other Middle Eastern countries' oil and gas resources. Iran is coming to the side of the underdog, Yemen. The US better pay attention to how it retaliates for the loss of oil-producing facilities. Bloodshed is not the way. Let's see if the administration is smarter than so many administrations before.

There comes a time, I imagine, in everyone's life, when they have to choose between turning the page, or closing the book. I read yesterday that the entire United States Army is preparing now for global war. Perhaps it's time now to start writing some about all the beauty and goodness still remaining in the world. Those qualities might not be here much longer. All the best. r
