War's Middle East Tide Without Ebb


What is this hallucinatory silent pause waiting to erupt,
this stifled resonance of tremors below the consciousness level of rational behavior,
the missing relaxed rational that allows intelligence to reign?

When will man match the sentience of elephants, dolphins and whales?

Where might a renaissance of logic and rational behavior take place?

Why goes here the swath of mutant ignorance
oozing down the idle cheeks of truth and morality,
some ignoring, some frozen in freedom's quiet patience and pain,
others asking nothing, save to just be that which human nature was meant to be;

loving as Nature, that phenomena of creation,

thoroughly committed to negative and positive energy

as the learning and resolution to integrity.

What happened to humankind and its betrayal of honesty’s invention?
