Where Has Integrity Gone?
Has it retreated to the dream state?
Has it gone to that place that affords recharge?
Perhaps…
It has found a new path,
One that is fortified with goodness and kindness,
Even with a half-time tribute to Kobe.
Or…
Might it have gone to the edge of the abyss
Where the vision is further clouded,
Where darkness another 4 years
Is total darkness but a jump away?
Let us hope…
Give it a rest, dumb-dumbs of pablum diet.
Watch the skill of honest mind and body commitment
And consider who you vote for
Come November.

Money corrupts. And a lot of money, corrupts even more. Unless we can get money out of politics, the "stakeholders" that our politicians will follow are not average Joes like you or I, but the very rich and powerful.
I'm going to watch the crazy commercials. But somehow, I've developed an immunity to their charm and rarely buy any of the products advertised.
