One’s Precious Life
Can we ever rekindle loss of life
That enigmatic effervescent glow of matter
Housed in a sentient mass
Where hearts and minds
See
Hear
Feel
Vibrations lesser life knows not of
Oh how sweet the breath of life
The in and out of sensorial perceptions
Each with its own personal footprint
Its own personal destiny
To take that life
To remove that vibration
Moving about to learn
Intuit
Aspire
Learning of love
To take that life...
One can only send caring oscillations
So many strangers
Yet one
So many parents
Yet community
So many brothers and sisters
Yet...
Yet...
Such bewilderment we face
Such heart crushing introspection needed
To heal
To globally become aware that
Minds often need help
As hearts relinquish their beat
And loved ones feel lost
As one’s precious life becomes absent
But it was relief that we all felt, when our mother died on February 14 at 95. She had been suffering immensely from ailments brought on by heart congestion, high blood pressure, diabetes, deafness, and perhaps, other ailments for nearly 2 years. Her pain and inability to deal with it made her angry and no one could help her get over it.
Ironically, she died when she couldn't breathe. Exactly the cause of death for most Coronavirus victims. She was an assisted living in northern Wisconsin at the time. It could've ben a strain of the flu, as well. But it is uncanny how their death parallels our current situation.
