Choices are made
But by whom?

Like ants to the sugar
Many spin on a dime
Get a whiff of the sweetness
Fall prey to the trap

A voyager off highway
A person transporting awareness
To the next portal by foot
Knows nakedness portends truth
Complies not to hi-tech distractions
Relies on Life's innate compass
Judging not the allure
But following heart and mind
Avoiding imitation trails well-trodden

Such is the journey

Worn boots
