Truth, Interim, Truth
Such an intersection some experiences accidentally find
Memories fold upon themselves
Like an origami bird
Never exposing all its folds
Yet there for the need to remember
Some recollections
Like a web
Needing to be crashed through
Where once may have been impatience
Now remind of one’s self-imposed captivity
Move ever so cautiously
In the remnants of the storm
Allowing rain’s cleansing to cling
Like teardrops from lesson learned
Eyes made open
Returning to the truth
Like having been colorblind
Then allowing the light to refract
Its rainbow hues
Bathing me with the shades of joy
The blush of love
