Love Connects All

If love connects all,
Might your absence
Leave behind…

The sparkle of a moon’s wink,
Even as a blur of ethereal effort?

The invisible light of compassion
Buried in the evaporation of tears shed?

Might it be…

Love connects all,
Even as it discerns vacancy
Masquerading as hope,
When all that’s left
Is memory?

Hopefully…

Tenderness remains the stubborn emotion it is,
For no one deserves emptiness
While desperately vying for tomorrow’s
Connection to love

whose sole purpose is
Merely wanting to remain just that

Being Love

Love never dies and I'm convinced that love is perfection and is never wrong. Even if our love is spurned or devalued it is still the most valuable and precious force in the universe. This is a beautiful poem, Odin. Honest and heartfelt.
