Invoking Authenticity

One could wish they knew,

Admitting they don’t have a clue.

Such is the authentic self.

One has choices

To live by strong values,

Embellishing authenticity with grace.

One can disagree with another,

But to accept agreement to disagree

Maintains validity.

One is wired to live all the selves,

Accepting the layered nature of being genuine.

Those determined to be what they are not

Find invoking authenticity difficult.
