2022 Rubicon’s Duality

To have been there often,

Done that often,

Got the message often,

Got the lesson often,

Found sorrow disruptive often,

Discovered order again often,

Understood how security in happiness works,

Reflected on the long distance

To go a short way

Not often enough perhaps,

Yet, this time…

The patience of wisdom awaited

On the other side of the Rubicon’s crossing,

Making clear that innominate

And precipitous twists and turns of the line

Need not be antithetical to destiny’s design.

Acceptance is finally being embraced.
