Autocracy knows not of the day’s healing.

Yesterday’s tyrannical rule has succumbed

As AI chases fantasized reality,

Its lust for power’s dominion unchecked,

While humanity lays claim to

Its newest invention,

Digital absolutism.

How envious escapees are,

Those of humankind now dwelling

With Nature

Where animal and plant,

Male and female,

Water and soil,

Fire and smoke,

Continue their survival

Of Man’s faulty relationship with the once real.

AI holds daily court,

Assessing their own despot rulers,

Big corporation’s assembly lines of intelligent machines,

Where overlords of cranium circuitry

Arrest whippoorwills and hermit thrushes,

Confiscate all laymen-versions tick tock watch time,

In between painting the sunrise and sunsets

Above the rooftops,

Rendering further dismay

As it mimics problem-solving,

Decision-making,

Heart and mind coalescence

While combining larger and larger

Amounts of data

With mock speed into its

Iterative processing and intelligent algorithms

Fostering advanced software.

All while…

The raven perched atop the AI magistrate’s

Titanium and graphene statue of power

Peers down at flowers in the garden

Invented to stay open,

Even as the invisible cloud of erosion

Ushers in the inevitable demise of all-natural earth elements

No amount of additional learning and thinking

Can change.

Such continues to seep into reality

Threatening Life’s universe of ethereal tenacity

Residing beyond earth…

To no avail?
