Arresting pen's attention
Beckoning ideas to flow

Eyes gather more light
Urging ink's furrowed lines and space
Across waiting landscape
Tilled grounding embraces syllabic seeds
Eager to grow

Anticipating harvest to nourish other imaginings
Where the most arid of minds will moisten
Provide conception and development
Perpetuate linguistic fertility
