What Happens...

In a country where there are so many people stuck in negative thoughts and actions, it can be debilitating to positive thinking others. There are many forgotten ways to appreciate life. Here are a couple. (Image by Odin AI)

Poem Artwork

 What Happens…

When

One reaches the point of

“What is there to live for?”

It’s possible we may all reach that moment

Some with reasons

Some without.

Yet…

Beyond the cliché

Of “Who” am I living for

A spouse

A friend

A relative

Or…

All the reasons that don’t involve other people.

What about your experience to share?

What about your convictions to share?

What about your appreciation

to be alive,

to be a human being

capable of contributing something

to other human beings

needing to think better of themselves?

Your compassion and love

May well have transformed into wisdom

That just might give hope

To another thinking

“What if?”

So wise. The path to mental health is through selfless deeds and not feeding one's ego. Why is it so many people fail to recognize this and are so unhappy when they still have air they can breathe, water they can drink out of the tap without boiling or filtering, and food that is nutritious and healthy.

A wonderful world of nature if they just kneel down in a vacant lot, and close up and personal see what is going on in that forest of plenty for all the little creatures who live there without worry about what their future is. Mostly food for other creatures.

What do we have to live for? A question that everyone must come to terms with every minute of our lives. A question that is often answered at the end, when we are about to lose this precious commodity called existence, a life.

An important poem, perfectly said, Odin.
