How long does love last

Does winter mean the end of love

Our very hearts fading with the end of dawn

Will love go on endlessly

What we thought to last

Really last and forever go on

Will love end with the coldness

 of the falls swift wind

Can there be a new beginning

Wrap ourselves in the warmth of our love

Our feelings held deep within

Is the passing of time ours to determine

Are we at Mother Natures

and Father Times mercy

Is there significance in predestination,

or is it our style

Do we love the way we chose, or the way we say

Is it for a lifetime or just for today

You have made a hole in my heart

And it hurts when the wind blows through it

Can it be mended in time with compassion

Or lost forever in my tattered soul

Can I ever really let the memory of our love go
