Fly Away

Upon the shore of peaceful hues,
they stroll hand in hand-
Resting angels, fly away-
to Heaven's eternal land

There by the gates she waited,
for his face to touch once more-
To share the love and embrace-
a reunion, forevermore

Of earthly sorrows they are free,
no pain; no burdens there-
Fly away with me my love,
on horizons sweet and fair

No tears or sadness do they know,
they abide in joy alone-
He smiles and strokes the tender cheek,
of the angel he's always known

Precious hymns to Him they sing,
in voices whispered low-
The song bird spreads his tiny wings,
by the rivers' even flow

Our resting angels, walk with Thee,
in the garden of Heaven's light-
Two souls rejoined in eternal bliss-
Resting Angels; Take flight
