And the terrorists, or those willing to be terrorists have grown exponentially since the U.S. invaded Iraq. Our destructive actions have provided them an excuse for their own destructive behaviour.

Oh Sherry this resonates with the sentiments of all the deaths that have gone down since we first heard and started heeding the terrorist threat and it is madness. Ultra madness.

Naw, Sherry, people are never going to live in harmony, at least not for long. Look at it this way, our own families can't seem to really "get along," there is always something stirring somebody up. So, if we can't even have peace and harmony within our own family, how do we expect the world to "get along?" Never happen. However, after saying that, I say this, this Islamic Jihad is a frightening thing and what makes it more frightening is the way the world, for the most part are handling it. Good poem, Lisa.

This chilled me right to the bone, Lisa. Frightening and dark, as are the lives they live. They believe they do it for Islam, which I believe is true. Any religious sect that preaches supremacy is frightening, but to teach supremacy and compound that with the belief that all others should die because they only threaten Islam is a concept that should have gone out with the Dark Ages; sadly, it did not. It's a scary world out there, I pray that someday this will all change and all people will live in harmony. Alas, I fear it will not be in my lifetime. Excellent pen, Lisa.
