The Streets On Halloween

Halloween is in the air

The witches and the bats are there

Above the children in the street

Begging for some trick or treat

The ghosts are flitting through the night

Foggy white in pale moonlight

The wolves are howling, sounding near

Sending chills through all who hear

Scary creatures in the trees

Crows and cats rock with the breeze

Glowing eyes pierce through the night

As witches conjure up a fright

The warlocks call to the undead

Some found hiding 'neath your bed

To roam the streets and cause a fret

Stealing candy with no regret

Monsters come to haunt the night

A spell of evil dims the light

The streets hold dangers unforeseen

There are smelly cauldrons boiling green

Toe of dragon, hair of rat

Claws taken from an old black cat

Mixed together to create a spell

Of evil deeds too dark to tell

So children of the night beware

Roam the streets with utmost care

For in Jack-O-Lantern's candles glow

The most evil spirits from below
