Satin Sheets of Metalic Purple

the sky shades the water's edge.
The sun of a pale pink

I am hanging onto the purple mist
as it streaks from the sky.
Hanging on and I scream out.
The words drip down like icing.
Lost among the whitecaps and the foam.
