A basic poem about calling an end to a failed romance.

I know that there is someone else in your life.
She may not be your lover or even a friend..
but someone else is there.
I'm too far apart from you,
so I can not compete against the time she gives you.
Therefore, I resign from my duties effective immediately.
Thank you for the past times shared!
