What do I see as I look at our world?

I see people who have so many spiritual gifts.

I see people who have a mental illness yet

teach me the truth about myself

They have such strength and reflect

the desire of God,s calling to me to

offer my humaness and compassion

which He has givien me

I wish I could explain my wishes

and dreams for them,I am not sure

I have the words, poets on this website

would be able to put it much more

colorful and beautifuly than me,

  I wish people who

are afraid of people who have mental

illness could come with me for one day,

come and visit the people I have

the opportunity to see-they would

find they are much like them- but maybe

that is why they are afraid.I would say to

them - look beyond the symtoms and

behaviors that might not conform to ours

What you will see is someone lonely, hurting,

but having hopes and dreams.I hate to

generalize because everyone is different,

but overall this is what I see.
