Singing the song of love
She rises each day
to embrace and appreciate
another day of possibilities
and hope for the way
things can be
She greets each one
with the wisdom
and compassion of knowing
each of us is a child of God
She realizes each day
is a gift and will not come again
We have this day to love
and give hope, How can
we follow her ways?
By being a reflection of hope
By not letting our feelings, struggles,
challenges, keep us from
knowing we have THIS day
