This is a poem that reflects on how we can experience the positive qualities of the sun, even when it is winter.
The sun with it's wonderful light
shines brightly
It warms and allows for
flowers to bloom
and for love to blossom
It can bring refreshing hope
when you are in a dark room
and you open the blinds
It provides opportunites
like hiking or playing ball
You might ask why
I am talking about he sun
when many are experiencing
very cold weather
That very sun which
provides light, hope,
opportunites, and love
is within you
No matter what the weather is
I see that light as God
