The support and love you give

makes my heart sing

The encouragement and enthusiasm

for the poems I write

makes me believe maybe

God has given me a gift

My desire is to give away

the love God has given me

To offer hope and joy 

To let people know they are loved

when they feel unloveable

I want to reach as many people as possible

Not for fame or money

However, I smile as I write that

I wouldn't mind earning my living writing

But- even with my weaknesses, I want

to live a life of love for God , the people God created,

and a joy of nature where God also dwells,
