The Day Peace Began!

This is a day that can start peace in each of our communities.

This is the day for love

This is the day for joy

This is the day when

neighbors who were at

odds speak to each other

and find a way of compromise

This is the day when people smile

and greet each other with love

This is the day that children feel

safe and cherished in their homes

This is the day when someone

who is going to be violent

finally realizes his/her own

goodness and also see's

the goodness in others

This is the day that begins

peace in each of our communities

Alleluia!
