This is a poem I would say to three or four people I know who are in their nineties. They are incredible!
What do you see as you look at your life? Do you see the love you have given? Do you see the difficulties you have overcome? Do you see what you have taught and the wisdom you have shown? Do you see the joy you have been able to give others? I can tell you what I see I see a beloved child of God who has loved and lived a life of faith May I be able to see the same when I am near the end of my path

There is no doubt in my mind that I was touched by the hand of God even in my birth. (See my footnote to my poem, "O, Dear God, Tell My Why!) I only hope that in my life I have touched others along the way.

And I'm an eternal optimist. In a couple of weeks I'll turn 77, and I like to think that I'm just getting started!

Thanks for the reminder to check our personal scorecards as we play the Game of Life.

I hope I live to be ninety ... *sigh* I know ninety-year-olds who get around much better than I do at the age of FIFTY! LOL Well done, Cindy; brava!
