Cookie for One

Passing by the mirror, a glimpse of life with its many challenges, appear...ah, yes, a very weighty subject.

Cookie for One

365 cups of loneliness

9 teaspoons of wound-rubbed salt

1 dash of long, lost love

2 handfuls of fault

1 pint of wishful thinking

4 ounces of pout

2 grams of green-dyed envy

90 gallons of doubt

80 pounds gained without thinking

60 gallons of empty pining,

stirred with

1 teaspoon of sugar-sweet

Yields one crumbly cookie for dining.
