I've been thinking of you
I want you to know.
I was crying...
Because I can't let you go.
I've been missing you
But I guess, you'll never know.
I can wonder and wonder
Will I see you again?
I can wonder and wonder
Will you look at me in the same way again?
I can wonder and wonder
If you'll ever see,
How dear, how close -
Just how you are to me.
I wish you knew
I wish you cared
I wish you and I were
What we once shared.
I miss you each day
I see you each night,
But it kills me to think
You're not here with me,
You're not by my side.
Why, oh why do I hurt so much?
It feels so right to love you,
But it feels so wrong
To know that I do.
Memories
Will not stop flashing in my head,
Memories cannot be killed,
They just keep coming back
So clear and loud
I wish you still were around.
And all I do,
Is sit here, write poems to you.
Poems, my love,
That you most likely will never read,
But how can I tell you
Otherwise how I feel?
