First of all I am so happy I have been given another 10 days on authorsden!!!!This poem means a lot to me! So i hope you all enjoy it!!! xxx

Memories,
Precious.
Time,
Unstoppable.
Life,
Irreplaceable.

As I approach a new part of my life
I understand how important my friends are.
Leaving, saying goodbye and moving on
My eyes water every time I think about it all

Just a few precious lessons is all that’s going to be left soon
Never did I think it would come so quickly – the end of my school
Approaching with every minute is my lasting goodbye
Goodbye to my school
To everything I know how

Stepping into the wilderness
I guess they call adult life
Is scaring me to my core
I don’t know what will become of me now

I strive to succeed,
I never want to lose touch with my friends
They mean so much
All those moments of utter stupidity and
Laughter I will miss… even the arguments –
That made us stronger in the long run
And those moments of heartbreaks,
Shared over a film or endless phone calls

Very soon I will leave the walls
That have surrounded me for so many years
The smell of canteen… and the noise of the Common Room.

Exciting and sad it is to move on
We hope to turn out successful and in control
Which way will our lives take us, which way we’ll take our lives
We don’t know.
I only hope to see everyone once more

Goodbye to my school,
My secure place where I felt safe and loved
The future is my empty book I yet have to write
I hope it’ll be filled
With ten times more of happiness I have had in the past….
The ups and downs will carry on
And to my friends I have to say
I Love You.

They have always stood by me
Being true to me
Never letting me down…

No matter where life takes us on our paths
