I met a friend, Jonathan. You know one of those Godly designs you can't miss. He was certainly NOT the usual "boy-meets-girl-are-we-going-to-have-sex someday" kind of encounter. Just Genuine friendship that is rare these days between a boy and a girl. It reminded me that we are all Gods creation whether we beleive it or not. We feel special on our Birthdays and on our wedding day but when we pass, its sad because someone special is gone.We may or may not live to our greatest potential but we live enjoy that gift of life that God gas given to us freely. Jonathan has a personality beyond human description. Despite all the life threating illnesses he has been through, He still choses to make the most of the life he as here on earth and make sure he gives back to those who are still coming in. I have a son named Jonathan...may he grow up to be like your friend...
I have a friend, actually the orphanage director where my children lived, that I feel much the same way about. He exudes goodness, integrity, humility...He is an honorable man. I hope that someday such things are said about all of my children...
