The dance we shared
I shall never forget
The crowded bar
You grasped my hand
The words of the song
Play yet in my head
You fold me in your arms
I swayed with you
Hip to hip
The words to the song
Upon your lips
And mine
Your scent so very heavenly
It still holds me enchanted
You lean down and whisper
For one who dances so much
You smell incredibly good
I smile as your words touched my heart
Close my eyes and I feel your body
Melt into mine
Or is that me melting into you
The dance we danced
I hold deep in my heart
Too soon it was over
I want to dance again
With you
To see if I still feel
The same way for you
My fears are all entwined
On what you mean to me
On what I mean to you
I thought we were meant
To be as one
My heart belongs to you
As long as I breathe
