Today I looked through the pond And saw to the other side A mortal such as me gazed back I was so very surprised She had blue eyes, Crystal clear She had a pert nose And very small ears Her forehead clear and smooth Her lips were red and full Her hair truly a fiery color Her chin was slightly dimpled Oh, I wonder of this maiden fair Who she is, do I dare Inquire within other realms Of the beautiful maiden I rub my eyes and she rubs hers I wave hello, she waves back I wonder if I reach through If she�d be reaching back�

I often wonder if the reflection is see is actually real, or if it has its own world in which it lives. Great piece here!
