They fought the cruel war

Of who is right and wrong.

The longer went the battle

The bitter get it gone.

But one day all has stopped

And peace has come at last.

We ask if victory is prized

But nobody answers us.

We see the dead,

Upholster bloody land.

Who is the winner,

If there nobody is to stand?

Yes, you are right

And they were wrong.

And now all of you

Lay dead and gone.

The righteous, just war,

That's what they said.

But I wholeheartedly prefer

A wrong peace to all of that.
