Some enjoy to fight the time when time is on our side if we love it right
Outcomes become our short comes but we chose that route
Everyone’s in a rush for what? To end their lives sooner

I have stars to reach and lessons to teach and life to take advantage of
While soles of feet are being burned by running through this earth
I’m resting on my balcony seat, relaxing my feet, appreciating the slow motion scene

While the heart sick live in their own sorrows and the love sprung indulge in the unhealthiest relationships
I’m preparing my better half to teach the other half her master works
So my one, whoever that might be will meet me at my highest peak
So no insecurities, no doubts will overshadow, he'll come around one day, I’m in no hurry

Why not be appreciative of this one chance given gift
Issues that needed to be dismissed misuse our well being
We ponder over the wanders we have no control over only intimidates our power
