Light as a feather
Brisk without tether
Into the night
Dancing.

Shadows lengthened
Winds cooled a setting sun.
Into an endless night
Tethered to a dying tumbleweed.

Unable to seed.

Heavy as a brick
Held with tether
Into countless days
Seeking joy.

At the end of
A tethered tumbleweed.
This poem left me wanting, It is a fearful thing to love what death can touch, but life is for living in the here and now, yesterday's gone and tomorrow brings what it will, all any of us really have is the moment. Well done R, didn't know you could write like that!
