why don�t you write one about cars, there are too many cars in the first world countries, in a society generated entirely by soap, think of all the creative writers & commercal artists it must produce to entertain it, establishment art!

A very fine, noble and powerful write! I admire and commend you for being as I...unafraid to write and voice your views!!!!

Bonnie: My husband and I don't own a television. On occasion I miss some of the good educational shows, but on the whole I feel that I am a much a happier person without it. My husband and I communicate much better now without the distraction of the boob tube. Also, the absence of nonsensical noise allows me to think, which I do quite frequently now. Excellent write and I agree completely.

oh my!! You are right!!! But its so easy to get sucked in......zombies we can be!! Honestly I don't pay much attention to tv, but my family does.......now i got the guilts!!!

"The Diabolical Tube" is a poem that could also be called "godly tube", or even better: "The Slave Maker Godly-Diabolical Tube"

The contents of this poem and the message are godly diabolical as evrything else in The Roman Empire in which the First and Second Class Citizen, enjoy the Plutocracy while they tell the Third, Fourth, Fifth classess to enjoy "democracy and freedom".

Only slaves kneel down. A human being must stand up and work.

The preachers that get millions dollars homes are the ones that tell the slaves to kneel down and pray, and keep waiting for a celestial home.

Television is as good, and as bad as that epic book that teaches slavery and call it salvation.

Your poem is magnificent, you, Poet, are a great warrior, profound writer and your poetical heart is sublime!

I find myself watching less and less TV as I grow older. It is really a shame that the mindless ones have taken over this wonderful invention. It could be a very useful tool for the education of our youth instead it gives them Britney Spears and gangsta rap. I look around American and my eyes see the Roman Empire just before its fall. All this and I am NOT doomsayer, just pragmatic, I suppose. Now that I have found you I shall return. Thanks for your comments.

Some say the demise of America came in with the Boston tea party, I prefer to think it came in with the television set, I lost count of the numerous hours I sat in American hotel rooms clicking through countless mind boggling presentations of benign human insanity.
I invariably landed up with the geographical or wildlife programs as being the only ones worthy of consideration.
Your point regarding religious affluence is well made, I worked with Billy Graham�s tour of the UK.
Now that man was impressive, he could have solved all third worlds debt problems in a year.
Wonder what happened to it all.
I wonder if God has a calculator.

I watch very little tv, but I'm sure most people realize evil can be anywhere and tv's do have a on, off button. Prayer is a thing that cannot be induced until a person actually decides they want to pray. Well written with a good rhyme and flow.
