This past November I went for a walk and heard sad news, the passing of a dear friend. I dedicate this to him.
A People-Person’s Peace
A people-person’s peace all around me A lonely boonie-boondock A far-away country Idly watching a clock Tribulations of boredom Gone away in a flash By fruits of freedom Bearing feelings of greatness To the village for a stroll Friendly air warms November’s cool night Suddenly a strange familiar troll Smiles at me with teeth so bright A village drunk greets me a hiccup I learn of a friend's demise Villagers continue to gossip Oh sad news for my eyes Not teary but I do care The loss of a dear friend who was so glad To just talk to his children twas everything to him so dear Two sons and one daughter who lost their dad Will never have his hand to touch Will miss him so very much Crouching atop the wooden bench The lonely troll is on a lark Aroma of burning fireplace wood smothers the sewer stench Surrounded by the friendly air and silence of dark Is the troll my imagination or perhaps the spirit? Of my lonely friend who passed away A lonely candle waiting to be lit For him each and every day A lonely candle waiting for a snuffle A people-person’s voice without sound A lonely candle amid hustle and bustle A people-person's presence lost but always around A people-person's eyes having no more sight Yet always having perfect vision Truly so kind and never one to fight Cut so short his life and his mission Forever friends no matter how far People-persons' peace don't just come and go Forever true to whom they are In ways that happen. How? We just don’t know A people-person’s peace I cherish more than gold A people-person's peace right from the very start A people-person’s peace will never grow old A people-person’s peace right from the very heart
This is A Very Beautiful Tribute to your friend. Very Beautiful He's Proud of you for your loving heart! He sounds like a really wonderful man. My thoughts are with you and his family.

A very beautiful and delicate write of remembrance. I really enjoyed the reflection and could as I imagine most can...relate to this so well. For many I know, also have come, left their mark on my heart, and then left without warning. Beautiful piece.
