Laughter is still the best medicine,

Laughter We laugh at life’s ironies We laugh at travails We laugh at daft stories We laugh at tall tales. We laugh when we’re lonely We laugh when in crowds We laugh when we stumble We laugh at the clouds. It’s good for our bellies It’s good for our brains It’s good for what ails us It’s good for our strains. It’s one of life’s mysteries It floats in the air It’s as contagious as measles It’s as precious as prayer. We need it for comfort We need it for pains We need it to steer us Over bumpy terrains. It’s our best way of coping It shields us from fear It resets our compass When danger is near. When knocked on our butts And we face a new low We laugh at our cares Then get up and go.

And write another Limerick, just for show. I don't find myself laughing a lot, as in LOL, but I do chuckle and smile quite a bit. I like to write and read satire, because, while sometimes quite funny, satire can get at serious subjects with humor.

A wonderful summary of laughter.
