The polar caps are melting
Can you see them?
Our rivers are fouling
Can you smell them?
The temperature is rising
Can you feel it?
Our forests are burning
Can you hear them?
Pollution is falling
Can you taste it?
California is drying
The animals are crying
Migrations are changing
Ozone’s rearranging
Yields are dwindling
There’s too little kindling
The summers are hotter
There’s not enough water
Skin cancers are rising
Is that not surprising?
The oil fields are jumping
Crude is still pumping
It’s a race to the finish
We could eat more spinach
But there’s none left for us
The worms made a fuss
They ate every leaf
But who is the thief?
Yeah we need scientific papers, but if there's ever a vital response, it'll be to more messages like yours - pithy, complete, and urgent. How soon will enough get what's right in front of us?

All of the world's most populous regions have pumped their aquifers dry, so why listen to the lie ... when its perfectly clear we'll grin ear-to-ear when we're drinkin' that beer made fermented oil. Gum spirits for all ... Where's my fiddle? Only eight billion of us left to finish the dirty deed. Sadly, I do have to admit that it happened on my watch. Bye, now.
The ocean keeps rising, and the earth's surface is sinking because everyone is digging out stuff underneath the earth's surface. That is what happened and the reason why there are sinkholes everywhere and one day we will all sink if people won't stop taking things from underneath the earth.
